"Look at this creature, for it is the epitome of Suffering. It is ugly and hideously overgrown, padded by layers of fat and dead skin and grimy, unkempt hair. Its left arm is the talon of a bird, the right the hoof of a horse, both near useless. Its right side spawns two horrific, tarantula-like legs, while the the left leg is a completely useless member. It cannot move on these; the only way it could ever move would be if it were to roll onto its stomach and use its forearms to drag itself feebly forward, but even if that were so, the creature would be in such a position that its own weight would crush its lungs and prevent it from breathing. All it can do is wait, looking with anguished eyes, listening with agonized ears. It is a demon, and therefore immortal, so there is no salvation in death for it. It suffers from now to eternity."
